Rules and Regulations
LIBRARY IS A TEMPLE OF KNOWLEDGE MAINTAIN ITS SANCTITY
- It is mandatory for every entrant (Faculty/Staff/Student) to the library, to enter his/her name and signature in the register meant for the purpose at the entrance gate.
- Please leave your belongings (like Bag/Bottle/Books etc.) at the property counter.
- You are required to maintain silence in the Library, making noise may interrupt others' work.
- Books will be issued to the students for 14 days. A fine of Rs. 1/- per day per book will be imposed on the defaulters. The counting of days will also include all kinds of Holidays/Leaves. If book overdue exceeds more than 200 days, the cost of the book with Rs. 50 fine, & if it exceeds 360 days, double the cost of the book with Rs. 50 fine will be imposed.
- In a particular semester, 1 book will be issued to a student for 2 times only.
- Please check the book for any kind of damage at the time of issue. Any damage/discrepancy should be brought to the notice of the librarian immediately; else, the sole responsibility will be of the borrower.
- Do not damage/disfigure the books. In case of any damage/loss, the cost of the books and a fine of Rs. 100/- per book will be imposed.
- Any incidence of theft of library books will be treated as an act of gross indiscipline, and disciplinary action against the defaulters will be taken.
- In case of any theft/loss of books, the library authorities have the right to check the belongings of all the users of the library.
- Books will be issued to the faculty members for 28 days. Rs. 1 per day of overdue fine will be imposed on the defaulter. New faculty members are provided with 5 Library cards.
